Answer: The application of unique knowledge and skills of the pharmacist to improve the health of the people is called Pharmacy Practice. It includes hospital, clinical, and community pharmacy.

Answer: A practicing pharmacist shares responsibilities with other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses etc) and with patients for the outcome of therapy. The patient and the community are the primary beneficiaries of the pharmacist’s actions.

Q.No.8: What is criteria/eligibility for taking admission in above courses?

Answer: Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science. [Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in the above subjects taken together).

Answer: No, there is no age limit for taking admission in these courses.

Q.No.10: Can a candidate having supplementary in 10 +2 also apply for admission in D.Pharma ?

Answer: Yes, but such candidates should pass 10 +2 at the time of admission.

Q.No.11: Is a candidate passed 10 +2 from open school eligible to apply for admission in D. Pharma ?

Answer:, as per PCI, candidate passed 10 + 2 from open school is not eligible.

Q.No.12: Are candidates belonging to any State other than Maharashtra eligible to apply?

Answer: All residents of India fulfilling educational qualifications are eligible to apply.

Q.No.13: What are the various documents required to be submitted at the time of admission?

Answer: Following documents are required in original at the time of admission in D.Pharma and The candidates shall submit self attested copies of following documents along with print-out of the registration form at the help centre, as mentioned in the registration form:

Q.No.14: What is the fee structure?

Answer: As per Shikshan shulk Samitifor Academic Year 2013-2014, The fee structure is as follows: D.Pharm.Rs.51,600/-
* Fee structure is tentative subject to change by competent authority.

Q.No.15: Is there any hostel facility available in the college?

Answer: Hostel is facility is available for boys as well as Girls.

Q.No.16: Is there any Uniform for these courses?

Answer: Yes, students are required to wear College Uniform in routine Academic days.

Q. No.17: Is there any book bank facility available?

Answer: Yes, set of text books are provided to students of D. Pharma from book bank free of cost. In addition to this, students are provided with I-card cum library card. Two books are issued for 14 days on this library card.

Q.No.18: If a student belongs to AB group in 12th Science and he has secured 45% marks in other subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) except biology, then will he be eligible for admission in Pharmacy(as A group candidate)?

Answer: Yes.

Q.No.19: Is there any common entrance test that the student needs to clear to become eligible

Answer: No

Q.No.20: Is a student who has cleared technical subjects in S.S.C. exam given any additional grace mark?

Answer: No.
